oh no oh no

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
today is the last day of the school holidays and i feel sad because the holidays should be longer. holidays seemed longer in australia and in here, the moment you blink, it ends. back to reality. back to school. back to hell. back to being surrounded by annoying people who will drain the goodness out of you. okay, that sounds a little extreme and cruel. but its true, i prefer my friends at church than my friends at school. school friends usually use you, for example, people asking for answers and homework. youre never gonna get anything good from them. some of my smart friends who has given answers to the stupid people regret everything, like this one time for a biology mid exam, my smart friend got 96 and the stupid friend who asked for answers got 98. unfair isnt it? he couldve at least got a 20 if it wasnt for my smart friend. there you go kids, dont give answers or your homework, theyre not gonna pay it back with an equal score for you. what do they have to offer? theyre stupid, youre never going to get better grades in return. again, back to reality. a reality of fake, hopeless, dumb, backstabbing, playboy/girly people. disgusting. school is disgusting. heavy text books, losing your pen several times, forgetting to do or bring an assignment or project or homework, teachers who dont even know what theyre talking about and a ridiculous curriculum.

'dream big they say, shoot for the stars. then they lock us away for 12 years and tell us where to sit, when to pee, and what to think'.

why cant be learn about greek mythology, or the trojan war, or american presidential history, or world war 2. oh right, i know i live in a south east asian country called indonesia where education is one of the worst, looking at the rankings but indonesian kids feel so pressured. i mean, look at me, i feel pressured under indonesian education whereas in australia, a country with excellent education, i feel no pressure what so ever. weird right? extremely. anyway i have no idea why im writing this but this is how i feel.

okay bye for now ;)

im back and im not dead

hello people. yes, i am not dead. Its been MONTHS since I last posted but whatever, i miss australia, when I wasnt so tired and busy. Many things happened while I was gone. DA GURLZ split up, I turned 14, I became more active at church, bla bla bla. Oh, DA GURLZ split up? What happened? Simple. Apparently one of them are stupid and well, I was the one who quit DA GURLZ first for a better reason and she was mad blablabla and shes a massive lazy jerk who asks people for html codes THAT TOOK ME 5 HOURS TO TYPE now so youre welcome :) (ps if you ever want to copy and paste my html coding for the school project, you better pay me depending on how many hours it took me to type, 1 hour is 20K by the way :D)
I also turned 14. Yup. Im getting more mature i think... I got a trumpet for my birthday. Yup, a trumpet. I'm starting to learn it and im having lessons. Not many girls are interested in playing the trumpet. You know, the usual typical teenangers who follows every trend as if its not gonna die. Every trend will die girls, every single trend.
Oh and also, I'm getting more active at church. Im extremely lucky to be a part of this church community, everyone is nice and supportive (well, mostly, before I began to develop a cringey illness with a few people). Recently, I officially became the Coordinator of the Fellowship Ministry. I think thats pretty cool. Not many people signed up to be a part of the Fellowship team which is weird because the teens fellowship is cool to be honest... The typical mainstream people like my friends chose the Junior Service though, hmm. But anyway, I'm glad I got accepted in my first (and only) choice.
Ive also been playing with my band at church... well, only twice. My band is called BANDIT. We may be younger than the rest of the teens and youth with bands but were okay with that, were pretty cool in my opinion hahaha. Apart from that, Ive been designing the LCD powerpoints for the Junior Service, Ive also been singing at the Junior and Teens Service, playing the violin with my team at the Adult Service, and also with my Vocal Group.

Okay i think thats it for now, bye folks :)

DA GURLZ pt.2

Hello everyone! This is a continuing post about DA GURLZ!

PT.1 (you can also scroll down to read this)
Yesterday my school friends came over to my house! The first to arrive was my friend Agnes and she arrived at about 10 o'clock. When she arrived, the both of us started playing Just Dance 2014. After we did a few songs and danced, we played Mario Kart. For someone who just played Mario Kart on the Wii, Agnes was pretty good, probably because a few of the Mario Kart racetracks/maps were on her Nintendo DS, thats what she told me. After that, we played Wii Play. We played Tanks which we have to shoot the enemy tank and whoever shoots more enemy tanks will win! We also played the Target game where we had to shoot colourful balloons, soda cans, targets, frisbees being thrown and alien spaceships. Agnes' favourite game was the cow racing game, she was really good at it and I was really bad, even my brother always beats me on that game! When we finished that, Kayla's car arrived and out came Kayla and Tiffany. We played Just Dance 2014 again and we also took really weird selfies with Tiffany's Snapchat. My favourite one was the face swap because its hilarious! We played Mario Kart together in a team and after that we made fairy floss. That time, my dad was picking up my brother from school and we did it ourselves. The fairy floss machine worked but our technique wasn't correct so it kinda failed. The fairy floss that we made didn't turn out as big as we expected. After that we waited for my dad and brother to come home so we made slime. Unfortunately, the slime failed because one of the ingredients is the eye drop. The eye drop acted as the borax of the slime. But the eye drop we used didn't contain borax so it couldn't stick very well. 2nd fail of the day... hahahah! The four of us also ate and drank a lot... We obviously didn't get drunk, because we're still kids, but we drank Coca Cola!! We also ate seaweed-flavoured chips and these chocolate balls that look like M 'n' M's but they weren't... but it was in an M 'n' M dispenser though. For lunch we ate spaghetti which my parents cooked. It was delicious. Though, Tiffany was a vegetarian so she couldn't eat what we ate. Fortunately, she brought her own vegetarian spaghetti with sauce and mushroom she brought for herself, so we can all eat spaghetti! After that when my dad and brother arrived, my dad helped us with making fairy floss and he can make it really big and fluffy! It was delicious! At my house, we also played the trampolines and they even told me to do a tour of the house... I have no idea why though. At about 8 o'clock pm we were going to have dinner but just when we were sitting down to eat, Kayla's mum arrived to pick them all up. We said goodbye and they went. It was such an awesome day yesterday, hopefully my friends (DA GURLZ) can come over again!!

Alright, now DA GURLZ still remain but actually, I think 2 months ago right before school, I quit and the reason why I quit is because I honestly dont want to be part of a gang because I want to be friends with everyone. At first, a few people didnt like the idea of me quitting and talked behind my back but I didnt really care. But now, theyre alright with me and they are still great friends with me!
Now I'm in a new gang/squad called TUJUKECE which is a mixture of 3 gangs, BAEZ, ZEAB and DA GURLZ. It all adds up to 21 people in TUJUKECE. Its really weird. I never wanted or begged to join but I thought why not?, since theyre my friends. The thing I like more about TUJUKECE is that its not only girls in it, but also a few boys tooI'm not SUPER close to them but at least I can socialise and not be isolated like an unsocial alien.

THANK YOU FOR READING AND ENJOY THE REST OF MY BLOG, BYYEEEEE!

Video Editing!

Hello everyone! I'm sorry I havent posted in a very VERY long time (since the 10th of May to be exact). During the school holidays a few months ago, I started making short video clips/ video edits. They are really fun to make actually! You can make video edits from clips and scenes from your own or from a certain movie or video. All my video edits are about Marvel so far and I'm not planning to do any other themed edits, except if there is a certain event or project I'm supposed to make a video of. I used to make and edits videos of the church choir singing in Melbourne. I used to make and edit a lot of other videos. Its really fun to express your ideas and mix it with a song and add effects. Its like making a trailer of a movie, because you have to cut out clips and put it all together.
To make a video edit like my Marvel video edit, first, I open a video editing program called "iMovie". its a program that only Mac users can have access to. Its a great program for editing and making videos. Then, I video record scenes from movies that I search up on the internet or Youtube. After that, I save the video clip and put it on iMovie and maybe cut off a few scenes. I usually dont video record up to 1 minute, I just do a lot of what i really need. Then, I also choose what song I'm going to use in the edit. I choose it from my iTunes Library or I either find a song on the internet and once I like it, I download it. Then, you match all the transitioning of the scenes with the beat and pace of the music/song. If it doesnt match, usually it wont turn out very well and it will end up looking messy. Good timing is very important! When I finish editing, I render the whole video and then I'm done. 30 minutes until an hour of work would usually result me in only making a 15 second video edit but its great because it can teach you patience and long video edits can get a bit boring.
Here is my favourite Marvel video edit that I have made! I love the song and the Winter Soldier is one of my favourite characters so yeah! Please dont steal it, this is my work (though I did not watermark it). Thank you and hope you enjoy!

A Trip to Bandung!

A few days before my birthday I went to a city called Bandung! It was a really great place and here is how my trip began...
So on Wednesday I went home from school earlier because we were going to Bandung... well its just an exaggerated reason so I can go home and miss a few hours of school hahah... but anyway I had to get enough rest and prepare myself for Bandung. We were going to go to Bandung by train and it took a whole twelve hours to get there! First we set off at about 3.30pm and we should arrive there before 4.15pm. We got an UBER instead of using our own car and went on the highway and we still were stuck in a few traffic jams. We arrived at the train station and met with my other family members. We checked in and went inside the train but one of my other families which is Etta's family (my cousin) hasn't arrived yet. At the end, they unfortunately missed the train :( We continued our journey on the train and IT WAS SO COLD. When it was daytime the air conditioners were on 22 degrees but as the night grew colder, they changed the air conditioner to 19 degrees!!! ITS SO WERID HOW THEY MAKE IT COLDER AT NIGHT PEOPLE ARE GONNA FREEZE. And that wasnt the worst, I was literally using short pants and my legs were FREEZING... and imagine as if you are freezing to death for 12 hours, that kinda happened to me! When we arrived at Bandung I was so happy when I could feel the warmer fresh air outside the train even though it was 4 o clock in the morning. As the sun rises, I realise Bandung is actually cooler than Surabaya, not only the city but  also the temperature of the city, it kinda reminds me of Melbourne... but not as cold as winter in Melbourne. We actually arrived on Thursday morning... (twelve hour journey). First we went to a building (well outside the building) and it is called "Gedung Sate". It's not a place where they sell chicken sate (hahah not funny) but its where the governor of Bandung works. After that we went to, well one of my favourite places, TRANS STUDIO!! This is my first time going to Trans Studio BANDUNG since its my very first time going to Bandung but I have been to TRANS STUDIO MAKASSAR twice, because my uncle lives in Makassar (but that was a long time ago before I went to Australia. I went on a few rides and even went to a ghost/horror house... I SCREAMED SO MUCH LOL! Then, we went to... many places I don't remember the name of and the order but I can recall a place called Farmhouse...
At the place called Farmhouse, we saw some pretty building and even the houses in HOBBITON (even though its not the ones in the North island of New Zealand which is mildly disappointing) but IT WAS FABULOUS AND LOOKED LIKE THE ONES IN NEW ZEALAND AND YEAH IM SUCH A HUGE THE HOBBIT AND LOTR FAN! There were also pretty flowers and they sold yummy snacks and of course, I got the free samples because I LOVE FREE SAMPLES!
We also went to a place called Dusun Bamboo, I think this is my second favourite place of the trip because there were so many gardens, flowers, the view was amazing, there was a lake, there were many attractions and I did ARCHERY!!! It was so cool, I didn't even miss the board, but I did miss a bit of the target 3 times but it did go on the board! It made my left arm really tired, but thats the effect on having a good time hahahah!
We bought souvenirs and I bought some for my school friends and also for my church friend Alleena because HER BIRTHDAY IS RIGHT AFTER MY BIRTHDAY!!
I had such an awesome time, I probably have not given many detail but to sum it up, I HAD A LOT OF FUN!
We went home at about 8 o'clock pm on Saturday and in the middle of the journey at 12am IT WAS MY BIRTHDAAAAYYYY!!! So my cousin said to me "Do you want to go to the toilet, can you come with me?" and so I came with her. I went in first and when I finished doing my business, my cousin went in and said "Stay here and wait for me okay?" and I said "Of course" and in my brain I was thinking "Well of course I would stay... but thats an unusual question because I always wait for her" and then when we went back, near my seat on the window it had banners that said HAPPY BDAY PIPIM!!!! YEEAYAYAYAYA!!! (okay thats my nickname lol) AND THE BANNERS HAD CAPTAIN AMERICA ON IT AND IT WAS CAPTAIN AMERICA THEMED!!!! I WAS SO HAPPY... well my face back then didn't look as happy as my heart and mind did because I was REALLY tired... also I finally asked my cousin later on "Oh wait, did you send me to the toilet so they (my other cousins) can set it up?" and she smiled and said "Yep"
When we got back to surabaya at 9.30am we separated and said GOODBYEEE :')

SNA COMPETITION

On April the 2nd, I joined a competition in SNA and it was the I joined the Instrumental Duet Competition. I played the piano while accompanying my friend Vivian playing the violin. The song we performed for the competition was called Flower of the Quern. Fortunately, it didn't take too much time for me to learn the song, I was able to play it within maybe 12 days (I dunno...).
First we went to SNA. The Instrumental Duet Competition started at 8 o'clock so we had to be there at 7 o'clock in the morning. We were number 5.
When it was finally our turn to perform, we played the song without any obvious mistakes!! We felt pretty relieved and happy! But there was another competitor from SNA and they seemed a lot older than us. They played the piece beautifully... maybe SNA chose them so they can obviously win.
The awarding was at 3pm and Vivian didn't wait, but I did. we stayed the whole afternoon because my brother performed in the Choir as well. I also wanted to see the Junior High School Choir Competition there because I knew some of my friends at church were joining the competition to from another school. It was so awesome. Something that made me surprised was that the public school choirs are so amazing compared to the others. For the Primary School Choir Competition, the public school won... and they deserved it! They literally mixed the song Paradise by Coldplay with a traditional Indonesian song and it was like a mashup/remix. It was awesome!!
The awarding ceremony began and they announced the 3rd prize winner of the Instrumental duet category A (my category) and the winner was from our school, Nation Star Academy and it was Joy and Tiffany! They played Minuet in D and the instruments were piano and flute. While Joy went on stage, my mum whispered to me "It looks like you're not going to win" and I replied "That's fine, I don't really mind, I never even signed up for this anyway"... and thats true... I never agreed to join this competition the school just assigned me! And then... "The second winner is from Nation Star Academy, Number 5" I was so so so happy when they said Nation Star Academy but even happier when they said Number 5!!! And that was me and Vivian!!! I went on to the stage and received the trophy and this styrofoam thing that said that we won 1 million rupiah!! I felt great!
Before we went home, I took pictures and also met with a friend at church and I never expected to win this actually... when you work hard and try your best, it's all in God's hands!

Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! Sorry I’m late to say this but I was very busy welcoming guests and I was busy celebrating with my family and also sending everyone messages for Christmas.
This Christmas (2015) is very different to other Christmas experiences I have had in Australia because since I’m in Indonesia, I can celebrate it with my extended family! It’s much better because I can celebrate it with people who actually believe that Jesus Christ was born to save us… no offence but most people who visited us on Christmas in Australia weren’t Christians most were Muslims. Now here, my entire family from my dad’s side is a Christian but in my mum’s family there are still muslims but we still celebrate with them and give them presents. I got a few presents this year, I got 2 shirts. One of the is a Hello Kitty shirt and the other is a shirt that matches the whole family and its like a family uniform. I also got a new pencil case and a bedsheet for my new room in my new house! And the bedsheet will also match with my curtains!! I also got a Tupperware drink bottle! I also got my grade 6 t-shirt from my old school in Australia!!! I have been waiting almost the whole year for this shirt and I finally got it in time for Christmas!! I also got chocolate from Australia thanks to my mum and dad’s friends from our old church!

Thanks for reading and enjoy the rest of my blog, BYE!!!
