Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief

Hey guys.... you know Percy Jackson stuff (I've mentioned it)... now I've read the whole book of Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief. It's a really good book. It's pretty much just like the movie..but the movie has less characters. Which is a shame, and also..some of the settings are REALLY different, and also the character is described really differently. For example, Annabeth's hair is brown and straight in the movie, but in the book, Annabeth's hair is blonde and wavy.

Anyway, I want everyone to read the book and I reckon you will really enjoy the book.

The Story Of....moi..

Hello I am writing a story for some reason and um.. I hope you enjoy this story. I kind of got this story from Percy Jackson And Olympians Series but um... things can be different, NO GODS, just monsters and those stuff.

Chapter 1

Hi I'm Kaylee, just another normal girl in a abnormal world, with some pretty unusual creatures around me. Well actually, lets just say I AM not truly normal like other human beings. Anyway, if you HATE adventures, get this book away from you and pretend you did not touch this book.

This story starts at school. Just me doing what other people would do. Learn, talk, play, learn again, eat, go home, just what the average girls and boys do. Well today didn't start quite well. My whole class were sitting and and learning, when the principal came to the class and introduced this new kid. A big girl, covered in freckles, has a mean looking frown and long black hair with a little bit of red on the tip of her hair. My friend Avery handed me a piece of paper.

Looks like she's gonna BULLY us today.. better run!

I wrote something down and gave it to Avery

Haha.. she looks like she'll be sitting around being an EMO.

Avery looked at me and grinned.

"Everyone, this is Evelyn. Please make her comfortable in this class." 

The Principal called out.

So now we've got the usual recess time. I sat around and talked about heaps of things with my friends, Avery and Adrian. Two of my very best friends. We were all doing okay when suddenly Evelyn walked towards us. Avery screeched quietly. We all backed up and Evelyn said..

"So, what's up?"

Adrian raised an eyebrow.

I was truly amazed. Even though she looks harsh and all, she's perfectly fine!

"Can we have a talk and stuff.. just a minute!" Avery said to Evelyn

Evelyn nodded

"Ok guys, is this a dream or WHAT?!?!" Avery asked Adrian and I.

"Technically, no." Adrian answered.

"She seems ok to me.. want to hang out with her?" I said.

Adrian shrugged and Avery just agreed.

"Did that take long?" I asked Evelyn.

"Nope." she replied.

So now were technically friends with Evelyn. She's really nice you know. She even bought Adrian a sandwich from the cafeteria when Adrian didn't bring any lunch.

Chapter 2

A few weeks later, Evelyn asked us a question.. a question you wouldn't really hear from anyone.

"Hey I just found this secret tunnel thing and its super cool inside! Wanna come with me?" Evelyn asked.

"Is it at school? And by the way, I know you're all ADVENTURES ARE AWESOME-ish, but isn't that unsafe?" Avery asked.

"Trust me, its safe and I've been there."

I felt a tingle in my body, something bad was going to happen. I just know it for some reason.

We went in and it was a little dusty, but its pretty cool. Then we stopped and entered this room. You'll never guess what we saw. The room was full of ancient treasures and weapons. Adrian opened his mouth. 

"This is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he yelled. 

The four of us looked every where for interesting objects. 

I looked every where and when we were about to leave, something caught my eye. 

Chapter 3

Why would ANYONE...ANYONE.. keep a sword at a public school?  I thought.

I held the sword and looked at it. 

"What do you have there Kaylee?" Evelyn asked me. 

"Oh, just a sword.." I answered back, still looking at it.

"Why would you need a sword here?" Avery asked.

"Good question. This is what you will need it for.." Evelyn said.

"What?" I asked

Evelyn had an evil grin. She stood still and suddenly....

Chapter 4

Wow great.. just some childish wings.. I thought, just when wings grew out of her back.

Actually they weren't any fake wings.. they were real wings! Like a dragon's one.

Then her face turned red and big and suddenly her skin was all scaly. She was a dragon.

"Guys! Get a shield each!" I shouted to Adrian and Avery.

"I knew there was something weird going on.." I muttered.

I held the sword and tried to attack her. 

"The problem is, we never attacked NOTHIN'!!!!!!" Adrian yelled.

"Well try. Do whatever you can to kill her!" Avery said loudly.

Evelyn the DRAGON GIRL is a fire breathing Human-Dragon. She almost killed Avery with fire. And what a day that was! 

As time flew by, we were really tired and we haven't hurt her in any way! Hours felt like years. We were exhausted from fighting Evelyn.

Percy Jackson And Olympians The Lightning Thief

On Thursday which was yesterday, I watched Percy Jackson And Olympians The Lightning Thief. My dad downloaded it. It was as awesome as Percy Jackson Sea Of Monsters!

To be honest with you, Percy Jackson And Olympians The Lightning Thief is WWWAAAAAAYYYYYY better than Percy Jackson Sea Of Monsters. If you're offended, I am seriously telling the truth!

Firstly its better cuz it makes more sense. 

Secondly its better cuz Percy Jackson Sea Of Monsters is un-consistent. What I mean by un-consistent is like in Percy Jackson Sea Of Monsters, the setting was like in the olden days and stuff, but olden days are not suppose to have iPads, which they did actually have iPads. And also the robot bull. It was pretty un-consistent. 

Ok lets not talk about the negative stuff.

Pretty cool effects I've seen, especially the water.

My rating for this movie is a 10 out of 10.

Its really good and um.. there was probably a lot of fighting in this movie,

which I would not recommend this to little kids.     

The ugliest bit was umm, Medusa was freaky as! 

If you look into her eyes you will be turned into stone. And her

hair is made of snakes.

Percy Jackson Sea Of Monsters

Yesterday I watched Percy Jackson Sea Of Monsters. It was awesome! 

Emotional parts of the movie:

The sad part of the movie was when Thalia died, but its was happy too because she became a tree and had this shield to protect Camp Half Blood. 

The weirdest part was when they were in the taxi with three drivers. The drivers were girls but they were totally crazy.

The scariest part was when they were fighting that monster thing. I dunno who it is but its was the monster Luke wanted to praise.

The goofiest part was when Grover was working for that cyclop in the carnival thing and this is how Grover looked like...

LOL

The coolest part was when Thalia became human AGAIN! I really liked that scene because like when they were like kids at the beginning she looked cool with black, short hair and black clothes or something I forgot a little bit, so then I wanted to know how she looked like when she was a teen. Yeah it was cool. 

The other cool part was when there was this giant robot bull thingy and then he attacked Camp Half blood. And Tyson was holding on his horns thing and suddenly the robot bull shot fire to Tyson from his mouth but Tyson didn't die which is AWESOME. I think he said something about fire proof.

Another sad thing was when Annabeth ALMOST died because of that monster thing. But, she became alive when they put the magical cloth thing, I don't remember what its called I know it starts with the letter 'f'.

The UGLIEST part was that Clarisse was working with zombies. 

But the AWESOME-EST part was when Percy fought that monster thing Luke tried to praise. Yeah it was THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So know Percy Jackson Sea Of Monsters is my favourite movie. The special effects was great.

To be honest the best effect is how Tyson only have one eye (he's a cyclop) and I didn't know how they kept that effect. Its pretty cool how they can keep it still on the same position of where the eye is.

THIS IS TRULY WRONG BUT MY PARENTS SAID..."It's good but it's a bit messy." 

HOW IS IT MESSY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

My parents said its messy because its like in the olden mythical times but in the movie they also have the ROBOT BULL, and even an iPad!!!!

The iPad scene was when Annabeth was explaining stuff and when she realised they need to go on a quest. 

I kind of agree it looks a bit weird but I wouldn't say its messy. I would say I don't care about all that and at least the movie is AWESOME!!!!!

My favourite character is Annabeth. SHE'S AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Annabeth is clever and yeah. And personally I would want Annabeth as a sister. LOL

My second favourite character is Percy. His sword is the coolest weapon I have ever seen to tell the truth. And his father is Poseidon. 

Poseidon is like GOD OF THE SEA. This is a true myth so please don't believe any of this GREEK GOD THING. Anyway back to Percy... IF I HAD ANY POWER I WOULD WANT TO CONTROL WATER. THATS JUST AWESOME.

Third favourite character....................... Grover

I would love to talk to animals and translate it to humans. If were Grover I would want to work as a zoologist. I would be popular in the zoo.. hehehe.

IF I HAD ALL THESE POWERS I WOULD BE SO HAPPY. -never gonna happen though..owe!-

Its a great movie and I haven't watched Percy Jackson & Olympians The Lightning Thief. I'll ask my dad to watch it some how.
